![]() ![]() The only possibility I've identified is Timemator, which appears to do what I want along with a whole lot more that I don't need. You wont get apps like Akiflow or say tools like Motion, but you will get good quality developers than produce brilliant apps. ![]() The ios version will be 5 stars once it gets an iPad version and there’s some way to automate functions like the Mac app. The only one that matches in my opinion is Toggle, except it’s too expensive and uggh, another subscription. The ios version is by far the best tracker you can buy. No subscription! A one-off purchase only. In terms of pricing, SetApp is very cost-effective, at around 10 per month to download and use any application you want. I really like the automation features there.Drag and drop selected records onto the job folder.Allow me to create client folders, with one or more job folders within. On being called from the Menu Bar, give me a list of all records selected by date range, listed by parent application, with every logged window beneath.Keep a running total of the time each frontmost window is active.Track the frontmost window regardless of application (the option to exclude certain applications, such as Finder, would be handy).Run entirely in the background with no action on my part – no start/stop timers (because I usually forget).I've looked at dozens of potential replacements in the App Store and on review sites suggested by Google and, with one possible exception, I can't identify a simple time tracker. But it is now abandonware and runs extraordinarily slowly under Rosetta 2. At the moment I use TimeTrackerPro, which does exactly what I need, no more and no less. I rely on time-tracking software to track my work so I can bill clients accurately.
